Started by a group of master degree graduates, these intelligent individuals have always aspired to become great teachers on a colossal scale. Their charming attitude to reaching to large numbers of students all around the world seemed like a fantasy at the beginning. With great knowledge on teaching, web marketing and business studies they came together to present what you see before you. As they're all from Britain, it was no surprise they came up with the proud name, British Online Academy. Some of these articulate entrepreneurs used to do home tutoring and some used to teach via Skype video ‘one to one' tutoring. This was extremely time consuming and frankly didn't pay enough. So one of them came up with the idea of doing video lesson online and distribute it in large numbers, which gave the idea to another to start online lessons to a group of people, live. After these initial ideas, the ideas just kept on flowing and became something larger than anyone of them expected. That's what makes the British Online Academy so different. The BOA don't want teachers to work for an hourly rate as they know this way all too well and hard working teachers deserve much more. So they came up with the idea of paying teachers a percentage depending on how many students their handling. You get what you put in style or work.
