With over 35 years of experience, British Swim School is Chicagoland's Premiere water survival and learn-to-swim program! We have several locations ranging from Skokie, IL to Hyde Park in Chicago, and are looking for goofy and passionate Swim Instructors. All positions are part-time and the hours are usually weekday afternoons and weekend mornings. Each water shift is between 2 and 5 hours with class levels ranging from beginners to recreational swim team. Student age range is between 3 months and 99 years!Our flexible schedule is perfect for college students, working with kids is fun and exciting, and best of all--you get to help save lives!We offer year round positions, paid training, PTO for those who work 20+ hours, and a fun and friendly work environment.In order to be accessible to harder to reach neighborhoods, we rent lanes in pools that already exist - gyms, residential buildings, physical rehab centers, etc. We have a main office in Chicago (apart from the listed locations) where we conduct interviews and training. All locations are CTA accessible!All Instructor applicants must be able to demonstrate the 4 basic strokes. All Customer Service applicants must be (at least) comfortable in the water.
