-The British Technion Society (BTS) raises funds for the Technion and promotes all the exciting research coming straight from the labs. -The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is Israel's leading centre of scientific and high technology research. It is one of the world's most prestigious technological institutes. The Technion plays a vital role in every aspect of Israel's life, from hi-tech development to medical research and defence.-BTS organizes events, seminars and networking sessions with Israel's foremost scientific, education and business leaders. -BTS provides opportunities to participate in the university's remarkable achievements.-BTS builds auditoriums, research centres and equipment, faculty and student facilities, sports facilities, student hostels, parks and gardens, as well as facilities for the physically challenged. -BTS sets up lectureships, endowment funds and established many family scholarships.
