About Britton Diamonds and Carlos Feijo, Chief Designer and General Manager Carlos is a BC local with a passion for everything related to jewellery. His interest began back in High School when he worked part time for Majestic Jewellers in Kitimat. There he learned the basics of jewellery repairs, ring sizing, re-tipping, engraving and more.From there he made the decision to gain a formal education in the field by attending the Gemological Institute of America "GIA". He majored in courses for goldsmithing, diamonds and coloured gems.Upon completing his training, he took the next step by working for several reputable jewellers, including O.B Allan and Drechsler & Sons in the Vancouver area. Carlos gained valuable knowledge in his position, running operations for repairs and custom orders.He found his true calling during his employment with Brinkaus Jewellers. There he gained extensive experience working with highly trained jewellers on high end watches and creating fine jewellery. Carlos worked closely with clients to ensure their custom orders were nothing short of perfection.Several years ago he became an invaluable jeweller with Britton Diamonds. With his proficiency, he ensures that coloured gems and diamonds are chosen and cut to the strict and stringent specifications that Britton Diamonds is renowned for.Carlos continuously stays on top of his trade by attending jewellery exhibitions worldwide. With his keen eye Carlos spends countless hours sitting down with coloured gem dealers and diamond sight-holders."I feel that my best traits are in listening and understanding my clients' requirements, and adding my vast expertise to a new custom design which our clients will enjoy for a life time."
