Medical Practice - Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
Broadbeach Medical Centre had its origins as Pacific Fair Medical Centre which opened in 1978, when Pacific Fair was first developed. Dr Morgan O'Brien is the foundation doctor for the practice, working initially in solo practice at Pacific Fair, Broadbeach for more than 35 years. In 2007, the practice amalgamated with other local doctors to create a larger group practice. Dr Bruce Brodie and Dr Fiona Hatton joined the team under the umbrella of the Australian Medical Association Queensland (AMAQ) and Dr Sally Kervison joined in 2008. In 2008, the long established and hugely respected, Gold Coast Women's Health (GCWH), relocated from Southport. Broadbeach Medical Centre and Gold Coast Women's Health are independent businesses but have been fortunate to co-locate together in order to provide continuing care for patients attending both practices. The medical practice has gone through considerable change and adaptation over the years, but has always maintained its reputation and family practice appeal. The move, in January 2014, to our beautiful new location at 2681 Gold Coast Highway, only 100 metres from the beach and in the heart of picturesque Broadbeach, was precipitated by the renovation of Pacific Fair.
