The Brown Trading Club (BTC) is an on-campus organization designed to explore a range of topics related to algorithmic trading, fundamental trading strategies, and financial markets in order to prepare members for interviews and jobs in quantitative finance and sales & trading. BTC works to accomplish this goal by hosting weekly meetings that include discussions on recent market events, analyses of trades executed during the week, and education sessions; running a semester-long virtual trading simulation; and constructing algorithmic trading strategies.We meet on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 pm in 85 Waterman Room 015. New members are always welcome! No financial background is necessary.
