The Bulgarian Trade Association of Manufacturers and Operators in the Gaming Industry is the first gaming independent, non-profit organization, established in 1992 in Bulgaria. Members of BTAMOGI are the largest gaming operators in the country and many of Bulgarian gaming equipment manufacturers with experience in the industry for over 20 years. Since its establishment the Associations' main activities have been related to professional growth of the industry and establishment of worldwide professional gaming standards in the country, catalyzing the process of modernization of the legislation as a representative body of the industry, official dialogue with government institutions and organizations. The Association takes active part in the discussions about the gaming regulations in Bulgaria since 1992 during the discussions of the first Decree of Gambling, during the discussions of the first Bulgarian Gaming Law in 1999 and thereafter. Many of the proposals made by the Association have been incorporated into Bulgarian Gaming regulations.The Association has set a broad range of goals, related to raising the professional knowledge of the members, promoting the business ethic, the integrity and prestige of the gaming industry, social responsibility and public health initiatives, problem gambling campaigns, organization and sponsorship of educational programs, specialty courses, round tables and other initiatives.
