The Business Society is an assembly of success-driven Bournemouth University students with a strong focus on professional and personal development. We aim to provide students with the X-factor, to significantly boost their employability by honing their already existing skills, while also allowing them to acquire new, higher-purpose ones. In today's highly competitive job market having a degree is sadly no longer enough. Thousands of students graduate each year only to find themselves fighting an uphill battle to secure their ideal role. Employers constantly look for exceptional and experienced individuals even though this is difficult to achieve straight out of Academia. Having an ace up your sleeve helps. This is where we come in.Being a member of the Business Society is a sure way to add much-needed real value to your CV. But that is not all we offer. We provide a hands-on approach to gaining essential employability as well as life skills such as networking, leadership, communication, problem-solving, fund-raising and industry knowledge. We do this by organizing and inviting business professionals for bespoke speaker events and more.Who can join?
