Buddha B Yoga Center (BBYC) is Washington DC's "Proud to be Vegan" Yoga Studio and Jivamukti Yoga Affiliate. BBYC is committed to providing the best in yoga instruction, workshops, teacher training programs, retreats, private yoga sessions, educational programs, fundraising for charities, and corporate yoga programs. BBYC is passionate about compassion for all sentient beings and the earth; enthusiastic about promoting a plant-strong, whole-foods, vegan lifestyle in accordance with the yogic principle of ahimsa (causing the least harm possible); and committed to acting as lineage holders for the Jivamukti and Ashtanga Yoga traditions while honoring and respecting all traditions within the yoga community. BBYC is a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher School approved and registered with the Yoga Alliance. BBYC also co-produced the Award Winning monthly show, Healthy You. Healthy You features vegan cooking, yoga instruction, and a commitment to a compassionate lifestyle.
