Serving your Community Since 1973.Budget Towing Services Ltd. was started by Brian Lee in 1972 when he drove his newly purchased tow truck through the Markham Santa Claus Parade. He then secured the Ontario Motor League contract, now referred to as the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) in early 1973. With the support of his family, he grew to 3 trucks by 1978 and became incorporated as Budget Towing Services Ltd. and continues to serve as the President. Budget Towing Services Ltd. has been and continues to be in business for 40 years and has grown to employ over 18 employees and expand our fleet to 18 trucks.After 40 years in business, Budget Towing Services Ltd. continues to be family owned and operated. Brian Lee, has his wife Cathy Lee as his business partner and co-manager. His daughter Janice Lee works full-time specializing in the accounting end of the office and his daughter Candice (Lee) Ward works part-time in the dispatching area. They remain one of the longest contracts with the CAA. Originally offering services only to the City of Markham, they have expanded to Richmond Hill and Whitchurch-Stouffville. Budget Towing Services Ltd. had the honour of becoming the first preferred Contractor for CAA South Central Ontario in 1999.Budget Towing Services Ltd. was the York Regional Police tower of choice for the Town of Markham though contracts were not on paper at the time. They served the York Regional Police from 1973 until 1995.
