The creators of Buggy Lights, Rachelle Hatfield and Nikki Tena, are both mothers of young children and proud partners of Buggy Lights. It is part of their lifestyle to be outdoors and active with their children - even at night. They have been designing, field testing, and searching for the best solution for safe nights, and they believe they found it with Buggy Lights. Many parents enjoy being outdoors and active with their children in tow. Whether it's walking to the grocery store, going out to dinner, having a picnic in the park, or taking a stroll to a friend's house for a play date, after the sun goes down precautions are needed to ensure the safety of all children. Buggy Lights is here to help keep families safe! Buggy Lights ensures that our children will be visable to other pedestrians and street traffic while out at dusk, after dark, or in foggy conditions.Nationally, lighting on bicycles is encouraged, and in most states it is a law. In fact, the Uniform Vehicle code in California requires that a bicycle have a front headlight and rear taillight visible to traffic up to 500 feet. For those same safety purposes implemented by the bicycle law, it is our opinion that safety lights should also be mandatory on any transportation device used by our children during night or low light conditions.
