Build & Company was created from years of working in the fashion industry and traveling around the globe. There are two major problems I discovered in each realm. Being a fashion designer taught me an important lesson; the client knows what they want, PERIOD. I discovered there is a void for clients to be their own designer and create what fits perfectly into their lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic. The second problem I discovered happened while I was traveling. I never had enough room in my luggage for all the types of purses, clutches, or a backpack I needed for my trips. I would always have limited options due to space and weight.One day while walking on the streets of Paris the idea for a modular purse came to me. I wanted to create a purse line that could change with my needs, the trends, and something I could pack easily. This is how Build & Company was born.With a prefabricated modular purse the client becomes the designer. You are able to create what fits into your lifestyle, and build your style as you see fit. Also in this model our company is able to create handbags that are 90% sustainable. Its a win for our clients and our environment.-Sara Coon, Founder
