Building Block Co. is dedicated to ensuring deserving Northern Coloradocommunity members basic needs are identified and met.We rely on donations from those who are in a position to help. By shopping sales, gathering and storing donations until needs arise we are able to ensure everyone's resources go further. Through the assistance of community liaisons our goal is to recognize and fulfill even the most basic needs of our community members. Thanks to our referral program, we don't waste time with a lengthy screening process, allowing folks to get help right when they need it. Starting in Northern Colorado schools our focus is on ensuring children have the items they need to succeed in daily life. That then expands to their households. While our focus begins with kids and their families, we don't limit our outreach. In fact, we happily support Veterans and seniors in our community as well. We utilize our community connections and trusted partners to timely get the needed items to the right people. Building Block understands it's hard to ask for help so we believe in maintaining a level of anonymity. We also believe if someone is asking for help, they deserve to receive quality items, which is why we request items come to us in new or nearly new condition. Building Block Co. is uniquely positioned to accept and store donations year round. With no overhead costs, our focus is on non-monetary donations, meaning your time or physical goods. Shaping our Youth for VolunteerismWe've been alive long enough to see a culture change. Growing up volunteering in various facets, it's hard to not have those opportunities for our own children. Sticking to our mission of fulfilling needs, Building Block is strategically set up to allow for youth volunteers. From sorting and packing to picking and wrapping, kids can expand on reading, communication and social skills all the while learning a little about empathy. Donations to Building Block are tax deductible.
