The Building Peace Foundation (BPF) is an Italy-based NGO founded in 2014 by a team of international professionals with a background in social entrepreneurship, sustainable architecture and international cooperation. Our mission is to develop and implement innovative building solutions able to improve the living conditions of millions of people displaced worldwide, focusing especially on creating access to education. We developed RE:BUILD, a revolutionary modular and re-deployable prefabricated building system to provide displaced people with safer and long-lasting shelters. The structures are built by the communities themselves, thus creating jobs, a sense of ownership and dignity.
