The information and analytical centre BEST conducts research and provides consultation in social and economic policy areas. The centre was established in 2005 by SCM and SCM-Finance. The aim of the centre is to encourage the development of the market economy in Ukraine as well as promote stable and socially-oriented economic growth. Activity principles < Objectivity, political independence and high quality of products; < Applying international standards and practices when developing recommendations; < An open dialogue with partners when developing and promoting analytical products. BEST < Develops: - monitoring products with analysis of Ukrainian social and economic development rate on the macro- and micro-level (including regional and sectoral perspective); - theoretic and empirical research of various aspects of social and economic policy; - consulting products in social and economic policy, corporate governance, and social responsibility of business. < Serves as an expert platform for the public discussion of social and economic policy as well as a dialogue between the state and business < Consults on economic and social policy, corporate development, and social responsibility of business.
