Launched in January 2020, BLAY is Yangon's first social enterprise that offers Burmese language classes. Proceeds from your school fees will fund the education of disadvantaged youths.To help our students succeed in real-life interactions and make authentic connections with the local culture, our lessons are interactive and highly communicative. Through the use of role-playing and out-of-the-classroom experiences, our students develop both a strong foundation in Burmese and confidence in using the language for work, play and life in Myanmar. Some of our lessons include our tutors guiding our students to practice ordering milk tea at a local teahouse or role-playing simple business negotiations.
