Burst & Fleurish humbly began a few years ago, when its Founder and CEO, Michelle Kaplan, would write poetry in the early mornings, evolving into a daily self-inquiry practice. Goal-oriented and action-packed, with a personality more like an over-caffeinated run-on sentence, Michelle also began to understand the power of turning within and taking time to sow, grow, and know her more introspective side to realize her dreams.For years, Michelle's poems stayed private, but as life works in its serendipitous ways, Michelle had the opportunity to read one of her poems in a corporate work setting. That sharing changed the meeting from one that started with divisiveness and ended with mutual understanding and a plan of action. This was Michelle's aha moment that poetry can be beneficial to an organization's people, productivity, and profitability by developing its leaders and expanding their belief in what is possible.It's with these intentions that Burst & Fleurish was officially launched. What differentiates Michelle from other coaches is that by integrating her 30 years of HR, Organizational Effectiveness, and Leadership Development knowledge and experience with her poetry, she helps clients harness and leverage their inner guidance to see things from different perspectives that shapes decision-making and leads to inspired communications and actions to achieve great things.
