Business Buildhers was started in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2016 by Kylie Richardson as a platform for women in business to meet likeminded women. Kylie had moved from Auckland and wanted to connect with boss babes who were on her wavelength but there weren't any informal, casual meetups that she was craving, so she created her own.What started as an idea with a girlfriend to go for a wine at a local bar and chat about business with whoever wanted to come along, grew into an online community of over 750 awesome women (and counting) who all shared a common desire to find connections with people who just get it; who get their struggles, their passion, their crazy ambition.After years of deliberation and hesitation, Kylie decided to create some more curated events, and the Girl Boss Chat Series was created in mid 2018. This event came about to satisfy the desire to bring a more structured format to the community, and to show women that girl bosses they admire from a far are just regular women, just like you.
