Business Enterprise Fund (BEF) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that lends money to businesses to help them thrive and grow.As a Delivery Partner for the Government's Start Up Loans Programme, we provide finance and support for early-stage businesses, and as a Fund Manager for the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, we deliver microfinance (loans up to £100,000 unsecured) to businesses in Yorkshire and the Tees Valley.BEF has lent over £30 million and assisted over 3000 businesses. Over the last year for every £1 invested, £4 has been added to the local economy.
