A group of visionary successful entrepreneur's wishes to operationalize a Innovation and Incubation Centre in line with its Vision, Mission and Strategic Plan; a rather new initiative for BANGLADESH which borrows heavily from models of various successful World Class Incubators of different countries. Business Innovation & Incubation Centre Ltd (BIIC) is established with the purpose to provide incubation and entrepreneurial services to innovative ventures that demonstrate the ability to develop market niche products in technology and light manufacturing areas. The incubation model has been adapted to meet a variety of needs, from fostering commercialization of university technologies to increasing employment in economically distressed communities to serving as an investment vehicle.
