Business Integrity Network- Afghanistan (BINA) is a Non Governmental Organization initiated by Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility Organization (HARAKAT-AICF) as part of its greater mission to improve business climate in Afghanistan. The mission of BINA is to create a strong private sector coalition which actively promotes business integrity , made up of members who have committed themselves to operating with integrity and have adopted the policies and practices necessary to do so. With BINA's assistance, the private sector will be actively engaged in improving the business climate in Afghanistan.The core objectives of BINA are as follows: • Reduce corruption in the country; • Establish a network of Afghan businesses, committed to increase business integrity and transparency; • Raise and increase awareness about integrity and ethics among businesses; • Reduce transaction costs in dealing with the government; • Foster cleaner business practices; • Increase public confidence in the private sector; • Introduce the culture of corporate governance;
