Business Mentor NY is the State's first, large scale, hands-on consulting and mentorship initiative to foster small business and entrepreneurial growth. Mentors join, search for small businesses and entrepreneurs via BusinessMentor.ny.gov, and once connected, provide counsel, advice, and support – from lending general business and trade guidance to specialized technical advice. Our mentors and advisors have time to give, but little time to waste. Business Mentor NY is designed to allow volunteers to use their skills efficiently, with maximum impact, and is also extremely flexible – you set the schedule and the expectations with your mentee.
