Founded in 2005 by students at The Courtauld Institute of Art, the Business of Art Society's mission is to offer members insight into various business aspects of the art world. The Business of Art Society not only organises talks, tours and events, allowing members to network with professionals working at the heart of the art business world, but is, in itself, a business organisation. We are self-funded and offer our members the opportunity to develop fantastic skills in journalism, finance, marketing, event organisation & public relations – essential for success in the competitive art and business world.
