Established in 2006; the Butterfly Children's Hospices seek to promote and practise high-quality, culturally-sensitive children's palliative care.Throughout China and the world, many children are diagnosed with terminal illnesses or life limiting disabilities. These children face unique medical and emotional challenges while their families are burdened with grief, confusion and enormous medical expenses. Dedicated palliative care and a comfortable, positive environment can reduce the suffering of these children.
