British Wireless for the Blind Fund is the only charity which provides free, specially adapted audio equipment to thousands of visually impaired people across the UK, who would not otherwise be able to afford it. Our radios are a lifeline to those who are blind and partially sighted, becoming a companion which keeps them in touch with the outside world and easing the isolation and boredom sight loss can bring. We have a range of modified equipment which meets the differing needs of visually impaired listeners, including a multimedia player, an internet radio and a simple DAB set.
