THE BY ME POETRY MISSIONBy Me Poetry was founded by Susan Llewelyn in September 2016 on Instagram. Susan wanted to share her poetry with other writers but quickly discovered that the best part of being on the internet was sharing ideas, thoughts and connecting with other poets around the world. Creating a poetry hub and getting other poets, writers and artists on board seemed like a logical and necessary step and www.bymepoetry.com was launched.By Me Poetry now draws on the energy, experience, enthusiasm and passion of seven individuals Amina, Gabi, Nabeel, Kwinnie, Shanelle, Salman, Damini and Susan, from five continents across the world! Our aim is to create a dynamic, interactive, supportive and inspirational hub for all to enjoy. By Me Poetry aims to bring poetry writers, readers and lovers together in a central hub from all over the globe.We aim to share, promote, publish and engage the poets of the world. To hear, embrace and listen to their unique voices through the varied medium of poetry.Ultimately, we believe there is power in the written word, voice and meaning and an universality that shares a common ground no matter where we reside.Our role is to disrupt traditional and inadequate pathways to publication of poetry through our multidimensional, democratic and digital platforms.We want to make poetry fun, inclusive and open to as many poets as possible.Did you know that there are 196 countries in the world?
