Bye Energy, Inc. is engaged in the development, manufacture, distribution and sale of electric and electric hybrid propulsion systems (EHPS) for aircraft. Bye Energy's business activities are conducted in the US at its facilities at Centennial Airport outside of Denver, CO, and at research facilities at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport north of Denver through facilities provided by its strategic partner, Beyond The Edge. Activities will also be conducted collaboratively in Europe with a proposed affiliate, Bye Energy Europe, to be based in Paris, France. Engineering and business development have progressed rapidly. A joint development agreement has been signed with Cessna Aircraft Company to develop and demonstrate the EHPS on the Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Additional strategic and industrial partners include Jeppesen, Dow-Kokam, Panacis, Newton Technologies, Wings Over The Rockies and Precision Aircraft. The EHPS will be a safe, cost effective, alternative to the traditional aviation gasoline-fueled internal combustion engine. Bye Energy is implementing a five part EHPS business strategy, with Phase 1 first flight projected to take place in the spring of 2011.
