Byte Motion vision and goal, are remote steered (ABB or other) robots and machines using Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality equipment. Idea is that we control robot/machine using signals that would awake robot services, rather than use preloaded SW/scenarios. This way robots can benefit on human intelligence/interactions in solving problems or services. This approach is somewhat new and different from usual way industrial robots are used, but our solution will combine robotics with human interaction during run. Robots can become tools that humans can use to provide their services in distance. For example:- rescue opperations - working in dangerous environments- controlling home robot when humans are away - provide any service in distance that today only can be done by human on the spot What could be specifically interesting for robot developers and integrators is possibility to program robots using Lead-Trough principles, where signals to steer robots or machines are stored and possible to replay or edit.Byte Motion is startup from Västerås, and we are a product of branching out from SunCom that is a member of SynerLeap. We are currently few persons and are flexible to involve more people when work/projects require it. We have been developing SW for teleoperation for SunCom, and now we would love to put a full focus/effort in this area and establish a platform independent SW solution for ABB and any other machine/robot using any VR/AR equipment as an input for control. Our teleoperation product is named Exobot.Our strength are SW programming for telecommunication, teleoperation, VR, API, web, and we have robotics knowledge earned in 1 year cooperation with SynerLeap trough SunCom. Anyhow as a base for remote robot srearing we are building a product that we named Exobot. This product will enable SDK for any market provided VR to communicate with any ABB robot.
