The Bywater Cottages are a collection of historic landmark built structures from 1868 through 1892 on the H.H. Slawson Plantation grounds. In 1867 the land of the plantation was sold along with the stables and the Smitty house. Our guest houses replaced existing buildings and are a delightful heritage to Southern living.
