Byzantium is widely regarded as one of the South West's premier restaurants and nightspots offering quality cuisine in sumptuous, recently refurbished surroundings with first class entertainment. Opened in 1998 in an impressive converted Victorian warehouse, with a setting that is a North African / Middle Eastern spectacular. Byzantium comprises a candlelit bar and lounge area on the ground floor and a spacious dining room on the first floor linked by a sweeping marble staircase. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and Byzantium's famous unique two-tier starter lantern served in the lounge. For main course and dessert ascend the marble staircase to the atmospheric dining room complemented by the fantastic backdrop of the beautiful St. Mary Redcliffe church, which is illuminated at night. Adding to the sense of theatre you can view our critically acclaimed chefs preparing your culinary choices in the open-plan gallery kitchen. After dinner return to the lounge to enjoy coffee and post-dinner drinks. On busy evenings there is a DJ, for you to dance the night away.
