Betagenex is a canadian preclinical CRO specializing in metabolic diseases with a focus on diabetes and pancreatic beta-cell function. We provide scientific expertise and drug discovery services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries for compound testing and target validation using state-of-the-art in vivo, ex vivo and in vitro approaches.Bêtagenex is part of Cardiometabolic HUB, a consortium of highly specialized CRO grouped to meet global cardiometabolic issues. Bêtagenex is also a spin-off of the University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM) chaired by Pr Vincent Poitout, Pr Marc Prentki, Dr Thierry Alquier, Dr Thierry Sulpice, also CSO of Physiogenex, a worldwide leading preclinical CRO and Rémy Burcelin from INSERM (France).
