[NeuraNet]The C-LAN/NeuraNet tracking and location system uses a proprietary low bandwidth, low power, cellular network that emulates a biological nervous system. The network has been optimized to transfer data synchronously through the network avoiding the self-generated "packet collisions" that greatly reduce ANY network bandwidth.C-LAN/NeuraNet is a self-forming, self-healing network that requires no installation effort other than providing AC power via an available AC power receptacle of light fixture. Once powered, the cell will automatically integrate into the network with no user or installer effort. Additionally if a cell is damaged or fails, the network isolates the bad or dead cell, reports the failure, and reforms its network connection around the bad cell. The network is designed to route ALL packets received by any network cell to the master cell, which acts like the brain stem in a biological nervous system. The master cell, one per network or sub-network, coordinates the network self-forming and self-healing as well as provide the synchronizing of the data transfer from the multiple cells defining the network. Currently, C-LAN/NeuraNet allows up to 64,000 cells to be integrated into a single network or into multiple sub-networks each with its own sub-master. These individual sub-network masters are in turn synchronized via a single master which provides the interface to application software via a cellular modem or Ethernet connection.Once the C-LAN/NeuraNet network is established in a physical space, any device incorporating a C-LAN/NeuraNet protocol RF transceiver chip, "C-LAN enabled", can be communicated with and be controlled by another C-LAN enabled device from anywhere within the network or from outside the network via communications through the network master cell. Finally, multiple, independent C-LAN/Neura networks can be operated within the same physical space providing even higher packet throughput than an individual network alone.
