C3 Collaborating for Health (C3) is a London-based charity with a global focus that counters the chronic non-communicable disease (NCD) epidemic by focusing on the main risk factors. The four big chronic diseases are cardiovascular disease, diabetes, many cancers and chronic lung disease. C3 does this by bringing together different communities to create changes that make it easier for people to: - improve what they eat and drink, - stop using tobacco, and - do more physical activity. C3's vision is for a world where people are not dying from preventable chronic diseases because they find it easier to live healthy lives. Collaboration is integral to C3's work: we partner with industries overlooked by traditional public health approaches because we recognises that no individual sector can successfully reduce chronic disease. To date C3 has partnered with over 80 organisations through its network of 3,000 experts across the world.
