CABEX Maps is a small mapmaking/cartographic company in South Africa. We are located at S33.940, E018.767 degrees, outside the University Town of Stellenbosch, approx. 40 km from Cape Town. We publish the well known CABEX maps, very detailed and accurate road maps of much-visited areas in South Africa. We also make country maps of the countries just North of South Africa. These country maps are made for Tracks4Africa, a company specialising in GPS maps covering the entire African continent. Maps published thus far are the map "100 KM around Cape Town" (CABEX) and the country travel maps of Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique/Malawi and, last but not least: South Africa. The CABEX map "100 km around Cape Town" was drawn up at a scale 1:150,000 and it is the MOST Detailed and accurate map available for this area. It is a map for motorists, mountainbikers, 4x4 enthousiasts and even hikers. It can be ordered by sending an email to: aboes1941@gmail.com . The cost is ZAR 150 (Approx. US$10) plus shipping/handling at cost + 10%. The T4A country maps were drawn at a scale 1:1,000,000 and each show the entire country, plus a wealth of touristic information. We also make sets of placemats (A3 size) displaying most of the wine estates in the South African Western Cape Province, the heartland of the South African wine industry. The placemats double as detailed road maps for motorists, bikers and hikers. they come in a set of four: Stellenbosch North, Stellenbosch South, Paarl and Franschhoek.
