September 29, 2015 - Los Angeles, CA – The Cabo Comedy Festival, which launched in 2013 in Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico under the slogan "Where the Land Ends and the Fun Begins," returns this week to generate laughs south of the border. Last year's festival was canceled after Hurricane Odile struck the Los Cabos region on September 15, 2014.The 5-day Cabo Comedy Festival (www.cabocomedyfestival.com), kicks off on Wednesday, September 30, and runs through October 4, 2015. It is produced by LA-based the Zaring Group and Wind Entertainment and sponsored by the Los Cabos Tourism Board, and will feature performances at Desperados Cantina and La Divina Bar by over 75 of the entertainment industry's top stand-up headliners. It will also include Q&A panel discussions on the business of comedy at the Tesoro Resort Los Cabos, and official parties at some of the hottest bars in Cabo, including Baja Junkie and Mango Deck. A portion of the proceeds of the Comedy Festival will benefit DIF Los Cabos, a charitable organization which supports children and families in need."We're thrilled to welcome the second edition of the Los Cabos Comedy Festival to the destination," said Ruben Reachi, General Director of Los Cabos Tourism Board. "We particularly applaud the Festival's lineup of top-tier performers, who serve to entertain our visitors in unmatched ways."Just a few of the comedians set to perform this year include Ahmed Ahmed, Cisco Saldana, Al Jackson, Ben Gleib, Ben Morrison, Brandt Tobler, Brooks Wheelan, Cathy Ladman, Drew Lynch, Jeff Dye, John Fugelsang, Lil Rel, Mark Eddie, Paul Rodriguez and Tiffany Hadish. 25 of the top stand-ups from Mexico will also perform, including Televisa's late night talk show star Rene Franco, Gon Curiel and Fran Hevia.
