Cadenza was founded in 2009 by female UCLA students who wanted a relaxing outlet for their music while building a community of fellow music lovers to share their passion with. Today, we continue to focus on fostering a sense of community and enriching our musical experience. We encourage every one of our members to get involved in managing the group and contributing to our arrangements. We mainly sing pop and R&B, though we are open to other genres. While we are not competitive, we have performed on and off campus and interact with the larger a cappella community in UCLA and in Southern California.
