CADsec Details
During my 17 years experience of Security Installation, very often I came across the problems created when project drawings were not as specification dictated. It was often the case that unfortunately the integrator did not have the in-house expertise required for the production of detailed security CAD drawings. I identified this problem and undertook to offer this service in 1999 under the wing of my existing sub-contract company FPS Systems. This year, I have decided to give our dedicated Security Industry CAD service a separate identity and have created CADsec as a result. We create custom layers within AutoCAD for CCTV, Access control and perimeter systems which can be presented to your client as part of a quotation or tender or as an 'as built' drawing. As with all installations, specifications can change due to site variables and we can update produced plans according for re-issue to help keep projects on track. All our drawings are formed in AutoCAD but can be supplied in many different formats to fulfill your project requirements. We have an in-house Library of CCTV, PID's and access control symbols at your disposal or if you prefer, we can use your own symbols from previous projects. At project completion, produced drawings can be added to operations and maintenance manuals which often form part of a project specification. Custom borders can be created with your company Logo, address etc.. included.
