CAI-CV is the leading source of education, advocacy and professional credentialing for common interest developments (CIDs) in the Coachella Valley. CAI-CV is one of sixty CAI chapters in the U.S. and abroad with more than 33,000 members worldwide. CIDs are the fastest growing form of housing in the world today. Through CIDs, homeowners can share common areas such as pools, roads, recreational facilities and other resources. CIDs are typically organized and managed as homeowner associations (HOAs). CAI members include homeowners, homeowner associations, HOA board members, community managers, community management companies, and business partners and experts who provide services to CIDs.Increasingly complex regulations impact every facet of the CID industry. CAI continually informs its members with information regarding fiduciary duties and industry best practices. In an effort to promote professionalism at every level, CAI provides educational courses for community board members, and multiple levels of professional training and credentials for association managers. CAI also provides training and credentialing for CID experts, including reserve specialists, insurance and risk management providers and attorneys.The Coachella Valley chapter of CAI has more than 520 members, representing hundreds of local communities.
