What is Cairo University Racing Team? At the intersection of Science, Creativity and Art. Following our philosophy of developing our country industry. Cairo University Racing Team 2013 design and manufacture formula car using the latest technology and inspiration of being just an undergraduate Engineer. That gives you the power to break obstacles in order to prove that manufacturing a car in Egypt isn't impossible. Completing what our ancestors has achieved. This year we are participating with completely new formula car in several international competitions (Formula Student). And working on convoying our theory to the Egyptian youth. Our achievements: 1- Team 2012 was the first team founded from Cairo University faculty of engineering undergraduates. Who succeeded in design and manufacture a formula car with the cooperation of power and production mechanical departments. 2-The team entered the global competition in London, Silverstone for the first time and achieved the 75th rank out of 120 and it was the highest rank that an Egyptian team or an Arabic one reached throughout the competition
