I found my niche altering vintage and second-hand clothing. During college, my summers included purchasing "fashion" fabrics and experimenting with color and prints. I enjoy making my own patterns and manipulating fabrics. After graduation from Western Illinois University, I started shadowing two ladies who specialized in bridal alterations and design. They mentored me for over twelve months. In May 2010, I expanded my alterations services and started "Caitlin Elizabeth Bridal & Alterations."Most of my clients come from the Quad City area and surrounding communities. I have also worked with many brides from surrounding states including Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, and Iowa.
