Sponsored by the LEAD Center, the Cal Facilitation Team (CFT) is a leadership program dedicated to the training of student facilitators and service to the Cal community at large. This program will teach student facilitators the theory behind various types of facilitation, including team-building facilitation, workshop development and training, group consultation, and experiential-learning. Students will then get an opportunity to put the learned theories to practice by applying the skills they learn to provide workshops and trainings for different students and student organizations. Ultimately, CFT hopes to increase the strength of student organizations and their impact in contributing to a dynamic and diverse campus community. Our mission is to build a close-knit community, provide organizations with leadership development support, and creating a campus community centered on inclusive and dynamic conversations, mutual understanding and effective organization.
