CalHERS is an organization that is largely of, by, and for HERS raters and exists to benefit the energy efficiency industry in California and nationally.CalHERS seeks to influence the Title 24 process through consensus building, membership education, contributing to public debate, consistent standards, quality assurance, best practices and field research of energy efficiency in new and existing residential and non residential construction.CalHERS is a mutual benefit organization sharply focused on the education of its members, the consumer, and other stakeholders in the energy efficiency realm. CalHERS is unique in that we are the only organization that represents the interests of HERS raters. By extension, we uphold and advocate for the California Energy Commission's goals of standardized and objective third party verification to ensure a more efficient energy future for our state.
