Originally established in 1956 as KOCHER & NISHIMURA, INC., CALIFORNIA ENGINEERING DESIGN GROUP, INC. (CEDG), was formed due to the reorganization of its Principals. CEDG follows this strong tradition with the founder, Joe "Nish" Nishimura, who's work has been passed down to our future engineers.We have over 50 years of experience as Consulting Engineers and are committed to providing the construction industry with the highest of standards in design. As you gain familiarity with us, take note of the long list of established clientele, and the wide range of engineering services we offer.Our in-house computer programs includes Life Cycle Cost Analysis studies (DOE approved), Load Calculations, Title 24 Energy Calculations, and CAD, which will provide quick, accurate engineering design consistent with today's "fast track" construction needs. We also design, analyze and produce efficient BIM models.Each CEDG project is under direct supervision of one of its principals to insure quality work and timely completion as well as on-going personal communication with the client. CEDG is determined to provide cost effective systems that are not only energy efficient, but assuredly meets the client's needs.
