Originally the directors were the usual representatives who went to Sacramento to educate public policy makers on issues affecting persons with disabilities.Today, we serve all of the Independent Living Centers in California in different capacities, whether it's through our Disability Organizing Network or the assistive technology program, Ability Tools.
