Callosum Magazine is a multi-disciplinary arts organization dedicated to the publication, exhibition, and development of emerging artists and creators in the Chicagoland area. We operate an online and in-print magazine, host inclusive, collaborative art events, and provide feedback to any artist who submits their work to us.We strive to establish a connective, symbiotic arts community wherein all creative work is fostered and promoted by not only institutions but peers. Too often the gatekeepers of the art world shun young artists from their exclusive publications and events in the interest of elitism and taste-making. Our goal is to counter the norm by providing an open, encouraging door to all artists, no matter their experience, no matter the medium.We have worked with over 200 artists to date, and we're only growing.
