As in the Europe and the US we are collaborating with clinicians , nurses and professions allied to medicine to develop guidelines for resuscitation post cardiac surgery that address the challenges and resources found in centres across Australia and New Zealand A number of centres in Sydney , Melbourne and Adelaide (Australia) and Waikato (New Zealand) are in the process of starting to teach CALS and develop into Centres of Excellence (a model pioneered in CALS in the UK).
