We are production company/directing team specializing in comedic commercials and branded content.Over the last 7 years CALYER has directed and produced spots for (among others) Toyota, SimpliSafe, Kayem, Navy Federal, and Meineke. We have been lucky enough to work with agencies and production companies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Connelly Partners, Hill Holiday, and of course our favorite production company ELEMENT. In 2020, we got a great write up in AdWeek about making commercials during the pandemic and this year we won an Emmy for Best Commercial for our recent work on Kayem's spot for their new and delicious bacon.Since we were kicking around on the quad at Syracuse University, Peter, Eric, and Hunter have been collaborating in one way or another. After college we all found ourselves in NYC working in various capacities in the film biz. From Location scouting, to production design, to camera department, to production accounting, to improv troops. Between the three of us we've nearly done it all! Eventually, after living together (on Calyer St. in Brooklyn) we decided to put all of our collective experience and knowledge together and create this three headed beast known as CALYER!
