Nonprofit Organization Management - Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
Cambodian Student of Adelaide (CamS.A.) is a local, independent, non-political, not-for-profit youth-run club established in 2017 at The University of Adelaide.CamS.A. was established as a platform for Cambodian students and alumni to share interests, engage one another and promoting Cambodian culture and traditions. In 2017, the Adelaide University Cambodian Student Club (UoACSC) was working closely with local community services to provide meaningful activities to connect Cambodian students, both domestic and international, to wider Cambodian community in South Australia. After the first six months, the Club has rebranded itself into Cambodian Student of Adelaide (CamSA), and extended the mission to build its members the skills and prepare them for an employment opportunity. On top of the main missions, the Club has its own 2025 mission. Since the beginning, the Club promises to provide challenging work experiences in a real workplace environment for those members who want to have their hands-on experience before graduating from university. Partnerships with organisations committed to education and work experience are greatly valued, and the Club works collaboratively with a range of government and non-government agencies, family planning organisations, educational institutions and service providers, to best meet the goals of the Club and its members.
