Cambridge Winter was a private, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a rational, informed discourse on U.S. financial institutions policy. It was founded in 2009 and closed in 2012. During its brief time in operations it had an outsized impact on the post-crisis debate on financial regulatory reform -- particularly with respect to consumer finance and the so-called "shadow banking" markets.
