The purpose of the Association of Camerados is to build a movement of "Camerados", people who think and act differently by simply believing that we should all look out for each other. Human connection and mutual aid can divert many of the our biggest hairiest problems and they give each of us the TWO things that we believe are essential to mend tough days and broken lives:FRIENDS AND PURPOSE.So we create ideas to make this happen and our current focus is Public Living Rooms - places to connect and look out for each other. We've put them in a prison, hospital, football stadium, library and more in towns and cities in the UK and USA.
